Doorbell not connecting

Hi All, I have just installed a new ring doorbell however it does not connect to my phone when I check live view. Doorbell is only 10m away from wifi which is not very far away!! Only soloi seem to get is by a Ring booster (more money!!!). I don’t think the distance should be an issue and our internet is certainly fast enough with 94 download and 18 upload. Will be returning the product if I can’t find a solution?? Thanks in advance
