Doorbell infrared interference

I recently installed a Ring doorbell which is hardwired, and now notice the mechanical chime I have installed is very noisy. After troubleshooting, I have found that when my doorbell is on nighttime mode using infrared mode, there is chatter from my chime, so much so that I have to turn off the doorbell at night or else leave on the porch light so as to turn off infrared mode. Has anyone experienced this and can you please advise?
