Doorbell 3 'add battery '

Our Ring 3 doorbell has recently started showing add battery in the app. Only noticed when the battery went flat with no warning notification. I've changed the battery to a fully charged one, we have 2 batteries,  and still shows add battery in the app. I've restarted the device through the app with the fresh battery.

    Hi @Dave23. Thank you for including a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end. To confirm, you already performed a reboot from the Ring app? Are you still able to activate the Live View, despite the warning to add a battery?

      Hello I've restored to factory settings, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app. We are still able to see live view, and everything else. With the current 'add battery' issue we are unable to receive any notifications as to when the battery is low. It was working fine until about 2 weeks ago. We have 2 batteries both fully charged and the same issue is with both.

      @Dave23 I'm glad the Doorbell's features are still working, aside from the battery notifications. To factory reset the Doorbell, you would need to hold down the setup button for 20 seconds. After that, you would need to walk through a new setup in the Ring app. If you have already done those steps, then I'd recommend following up with our support team. They can document this and investigate further. You can contact our support team at one of the numbers here, or by sending a private message on Facebook @Ring.

      Hello Thank you for replying to my questions. Being deaf I was concerned about contacting over the phone. But by you adding the Facebook chat link I was able to resolve the issue, and now working correctly. The device has had a firmware update forced through, by following the instructions I was able to install, reconnect and hopwfuuly have the doorbell back to normal.  Thank you again.
