Door Bell Randomly Dings

Wife was outside hosing down the entry, afterwards the door bell in the house started to ding randomly, it did not ding-dong, just ding, she got it went but said she did not spray it directly. Took down and brought in house and put fan on it for several hours and also let it sit over night. Reinstalled it this morning and same thing. So I took it down again to bring inside to play around. Now I did notice that the ring was a solid blue, so I went into app and did a reboot. Now not lit solid blue but also decided since I had it available I would do a reset. Well after doing that and reinstalling it my doorbell still dings. Would have thought it was due to it just getting wet and something make contact with something and would stop after drying off.

Hi @KCDT58. It's definitely possible that some water got inside the Doorbell and is affecting the Doorbell button. A reboot and a factory reset were both good troubleshooting steps. Since this issue is still occurring after trying those steps, it would be best to reach out to our support team to take a closer look. You can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here.](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Contact-Us) If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
