  Hi @Caitlyn_Ring , I have to second @Baz_8755's point and concern of the product being discontinued. The Peephole Camera is perfect for apartments and condos and I personally have recommended the Peephole Camera to friends who also loved it. My friend's was only allowed to install the Peephole Camera at his apartment complex and none of the other Ring doorbells are allowed, even if it's only adhered to the door. In addition, none of the other Ring doorbells offer knock detection and this is one of my favorite features of the Peephole Camera. I fail to understand why the Peephole Camera was discontinued. Ring no longer offers a product that is ideal or tailored towards those who live in apartments and condos. Are there plans to release a new generation of the Ring Peephole Camera to replace the 1st Gen? I would truly love to see this. I also worry about what will happen when it comes time to replace my Peephole Camera and it's past the warranty period. Most people who walk up to my door knock, they don't ring the doorbell and the knock detection feature is essential. Thank you, I hope the Peephole Camera is bought back.

  I think the peephole doorbell was not well advertised, therefore it was not selling as well as they expected. I had never heard of it until I happened to run across it on YouTube. It’s all about sales, I bet if I take this to a apartment complex or condo location it would sell with no problem.

  Agreed, I never saw any advertisement for it at all. I was just lucky that it had been released right before I had moved to a new apartment and was in the market for a camera that could see my front door--the previous apartment I was in had a large window above the door where I could place a security camera without needing to drill any holes--and happened upon the Peephole camera from Ring. It was the perfect solution. When I talk to other people who have security cameras and/or video doorbells, they were all surprised that such a product existed. Seems to me very little effort was put into any sort of advertising for it.

  I have had a peephole cam for some time and it has been brilliant. I keep reading posts from people looking to purchase one as they are not able to fit another version. What was Rings reason for discontinuing a product that customers are showing a real demand for. For myself I started with a peephole cam, added ring alarm and cameras plus Mesh Wifi to make it work , so far over £100's spent on Ring products. None of that would have been spent had it not been for the peephole cam.

  This is a terrible decision - The peephole camera is perfect and ours just got damaged. I cannot get a replacement?!?!?

  Ring/Amazon please bring back the peephole camera. There is nothing to replace it as most apartments and condos wont allow the doorbells. Had i known it would be dc’d i would had bought back ups. This is a terrible idea. Doorbells are flooding the market but the peephole cam was unique to Ring and clearly there is demand.
