Camera doesn’t activate for a delivery

I would like to know why my ring video doorbell activates when a car drives in front of our home, but a delivery truck can park in front of our home, the driver gets out and walks from the truck to the front porch, in line with the camera, puts a package on the porch, and walks back to his truck, and the camera doesn’t activate? Very irritating!
