Answering the door manually while doorbell informs people that I'm not home... how to avoid?

When I am home and people ring my doorbell I would like to answer the door just by opening it. Not using the app. Is that not possible? It seems silly that Doorbell is still informing people that I can't answer the door when they are starring right at me... Is there a button that I can press on the ring keypad gen 1 or perhaps have ring detect that the door has been opened? The alarm is in disarm mode.
