Annual charges

Ok, so why even ask if we want annual or monthly charges if Ring is just going to charge whatever they want? I went to do a new subscription, and I clicked monthly for $4.15 after tax. And immediately got a message from my bank that the $40 was charged for an annual subscription. IM ONLY GOING TO BE AT MY APARTMENT FOR ANOTHER 3 MONTHS. AND NOW I HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION FOR A YEAR. are you kidding me? Im absolutelt filing a dispute with my bank and throwing this piece of trash away.
