Turn Off Blue Light

Please give an option to turn off the annoying blue light on the Camera. This should be an option not a necessity. I have just bought 2 Ring cameras as they seemed like they appeared to fit my requirements. The blue light does not do this! What do I do, return them both or put come type of cheap fix (tape, paint etc) over the light? The fact that Ring haven’t addressed the reason for this ‘necessity’ in over 4 years of community  feedback speaks volumes for them sadly.
