We still have a canary for this feature. A simple feature or concept to simply disable camera when we are home. With contractors, cleaners and exterminators often in the house, we need the cameras set to record but some inside the house, we do not. Armed or not, we do not care for some cameras to be recording while we are walking around the house. The Canary has included this feature for a decade.

Hi @Bruces4gt. If you have a [Ring protect plan](https://ring.com/protect-plans), you can utilize the Modes feature for your Cameras to control whether or not they record based on the Mode. For example, you can turn off motion detection and recording in Home Mode, and toggle to Home Mode whenever you are home. You can learn more about Modes [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-of-Your-Ring-Devices-with-Modes).
