Testing sirens on security cameras
I've tried looking all over the internet and here for an answer to this but to no avail... Is there a way to test the sirens on the individual cameras without having the alarm system send responders(I have 2 spotlight cams and 1 floodlight cam)? I've seen the "Panic" icon available in Live View for the cameras but I'm afraid to try that lest my alarm system actually call the authorities. lol I'm also seeing a red "Siren" button on the page in the app for each individual device... would that be the way to do it?

Hey @pjprice79. Happy to help here for you as well! You can indeed test the sirens at any time, as setting off the siren for your camera will not set off the Ring Alarm. Please note that this is the same in the reverse fashion, and you will find that your cameras do not siren if your alarm is sirening. To test these sirens, it's in fact the area you were looking for, when you go into the Ring app \> Main Menu \> Device \> Camera to test \> and you will see that red Siren button next to the Live View for the device that allows the siren on it. In addition, if you're interested, you can test the siren for your Alarm as well without dispatch if you go into Devices \> Alarm Base Station \> Base Station \> Test Siren. This is a good idea to do if you're interested in how loud it'll be. Don't forget to warn the members in the house!
