Stick-up Cam Elite - weather resistance
I've bought a Stick-up Cam Elite to use outdoors. Just looking it over, I am a bit concerned that it is not really designed for outdoor use. The LAN entry is a large open hole and both the Ethernet and USB ports are open. Having had lots of experience with outdoor access points I'd have a expected a gland or similar for the cable entry and the units to be sealed in use.I would guess it is just a matter of time before both ports corrode and become non-functional.Does anyone have any practical experience of these in the outdoors - rain and shine?
