Stick Up Cam is not detecting people

Stick Up Cam is not detecting people at night or day time. Stick Up Cam’s infrared lights are toggled on. We miss events, day or night. When the camera has had a quiet period it seems like it is in sleep mode and not working. Any tips? Have followed all tips in the app, all adjustments the app recommends, etc
