Spotlight cam pro battery light keeps going on even when turned off

I’m having a very weird problem with a ring, spotlight, pro camera I have motion detection on, but the lights off. Under device settings, I have motion, activated, lights, turned off . I’ve confirmed that nothing is linked to this device yet for some reason when there’s motion, the light continues to turn on and turn off briefly it’s a solar cam with battery. I called Ring Support, but they had me do the usual reboot, the device check if there’s any link devices turn off they alap checked I have latest firmware and the problem still exist. Is this unit defective.
