Spotlight Cam Plus Motion Light Needs Firmware

I've had two Spotlight Cam Plus plugins and the light doesn't come on with motion as it should. The cameras are on the driveway and motion detection recording is great, recording motion 100 feet away The lights are set to come on when motion is detected, but they don't come on unless you are about 10 feet away. Once this "wakes up" the lights, they come on properly when cars or people go down the street and this has to be nightly. I cant "wake up " the camera when I am out of town and shouldnt have to do so. I have turned motion "off" and "on", power cycled and factory reset, however, no change on both Spotlight Cam Plus cameras. I have seen similar complaints on this device. Firmware update is likely the issue. Please fix.
