Ring stick up cam motion duration
Camera stops recording after 15 secs from the motion trigger. Can I change this to record for longer? I have missed a lot of activity due to this

Hey @Stingbigalow. The video recording length will vary depending on if you have a battery-operated or a hardwired Ring device. Our battery-operated devices will record an event for up to 30 seconds, while our hardwired devices will record for up to 60 seconds. If you have a battery-powered Ring device, you may also have the option to adjust the video recording length in increments of 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds. To check the video recording length you have set, open the Ring App \> Main Menu \> your Ring \> Device Settings \> Video Settings \> Video Recording Length \> Max Recording Length. You can view these steps [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040293791-Adjust-the-Video-Recording-Length-on-Your-Battery-Powered-Devices) as well. If you find that you do not have this feature, this may be due to us slowly rolling out this feature to our neighbors. We hope to have this rolled out in full by the end of the year!
