We install a lot of these PoE cameras - but lately 4 out of 8 were defective - they get power over Ethernet , but only led light turns on at the network switch port connection - and there’s no network connection; it can be setup over WiFi ; 2 were bad out of the box; 2 were working for a few days than stopped working; using Netgear PoE+ switch

Hi @user_ef8c70. The Ring Elite is compatible with any PoE switch in market that supports 802.3af and 802.3at. Additionally, Ring PoE devices need CAT5 cables or higher. After completing the setup process, navigate to Device Health > Change Connection Type and try changing to Ethernet from there.
