Ring Solar Panel No Longer Shows Connected in App

We had a few cloudy rainy days and the solar panel for my Ring Spotlight Plus Battery stopped showing in the app. I thought no big deal I get it - it's been cloudy. Today is clear and sunny and the solar panel still is not showing. I have disconnected the panel and reconnected it - still didn't show - I pulled the 1 battery in the cam and replaced it with TWO fully charged batteries - unplugged the solar panel and plugged it back in - still doesn't show - I did a reboot in the app - still doesn't show - I held down the reset button for 30 seconds and did a full reset - still doesn't show - i give up - what could be causing this on a fully sunny day?
