Ring Security Camera with 2 batteries issue
I have 2 batteries and all works fine. However, when one battery gets low or flat, the app reports that the battery needs charging and is below 30% even though the other battery is 60%.

Correct, it is a spotlight cam. The issue is that the app notifications and messages received dont align to the battery percentage quoted within the app. It appears to be swapping over batteries, however when the second battery reaches around 50%, i get a notification telling me the battery is low and the figure quoted is below 30%. When you then go into the app and look at the battery health, the app quotes a much higher figure and something near 50% more that the notification. The last example was a notification telling me the battery was at 29% but within the app and the power settings, the second battery was actually at 56%. Not sure what’s happening.

THi @user_11e097. The next time this happens, would you be able to share a screen recording? You can either share it here, or private message us on Facebook, Instagram or X @Ring. Be sure to also share the link to this thread in your message. This will help us pass this information along for investigation.

@Tom_Ring Its come round to that time again so i have sent some screenshots via the Facebook Messenger app. The app is reporting the battery at 30% and needs charging. However battery number 1 is at 13% and battery 2 is at 48%.

Hi @user_11e097. Since you mentioned two batteries, I'm guessing this is the Ring Spotlight Cam, correct? Once the first battery reaches a low enough threshold, it should swap to the second battery. You'll still receive the notification regarding the first battery to let you know that it will need to be recharged.
