Ring Floodlight Pro poor RSSI despite Eero upgrade
connectivity
cs-support

For those that might be able to help, Previous home network was driven through Sky Broadband with no major issues. Ring Doorbell Pro at the front of the house and a Ring Floodlight Pro at the back. Ring Floodlight always had poor RSSI (around -73) but was helped (small gains) when I purchased a TP Link extender and placed it in the kitchen, nearest point to the Floodlight. A couple of months ago, I purchased 2 Eero 6s to enhance whole house signal strength and speed whilst the expectation was to also improve the Ring devices’ RSSI. However, the Floodlight still has poor RSSI strength when using the Eero mesh network. My questions are 1) In theory, should Eero provide better strength (RSSI) to the external Ring devices? 2) Are there any tips and tricks I should try in the Eero network settings that could help strengthen the RSSI? Eero router connected to Sky router under the stairs with the Eero extender upstairs. Any thoughts appreciated, John

Hi @Goty19. The Eeros should help improve the signal strength for Ring devices. I recommend reaching out to Eero support to see if they can assist with optimizing your Eero devices to get the best performance out of them.
