Replacing my NVR CCTV system with Ring Cameras?

I current have been using a Swann NVR 8 Channel CCTV system. I do have it on a large screen monitor so that I can see all of the cameras at once. I do have a Ring Doorbell and now have bought two internal Ring Cameras and I do like the simplicity and quality, not to mention the ease of finding past footage. I do understand that I do have to upgrade to the higher Ring package so that I can record more devices etc and thats not a issue. What I would like to know, is there a way to see all or at least four of the cameras on one large monitor and if so how? I know there are some downsides to doing this compared to what I already have. Monthly package cost and a power point at each camera point, but I’d like to explore this option. I’d also, like to know if the existing plug on the power cable can be changed to a normal UK plug, so that I can use a outside UK garden weatherproof socket, which I think will not take the existing bulky Ring power plug. Cheers

Hi @152bobby. At this time, Ring devices do not function like a CCTV system, as they do not record 24/7 like a CCTV system would. However, the Multi-Cam Live View feature was recently released for Ring Protect Plus subscribers. This allows you to simultaneously watch the Live View of up to 4 Ring devices at a single location on Ring.com. Keep in mind that Live View times out after about 10 minutes, so it’s still not a direct replacement for a CCTV system. As for the power cable, we don’t advise cutting or altering the power cable in any way. This can void the warranty on your camera. The Indoor Camera is also not intended for outdoor use, and is not weather-resistant. Let us know if you have any other questions.
