Notifications As If Person Detected, In Error

I have a Spotlight Cam Pro configured to only notify me, and sound the associated/linked Chime, when it detects a person. It records on motion OR a person, but notifications set only for a person. Which has been working fine, until this morning. I had an incident where it detected motion (a passing vehicle) and it activated the chime with the normal audible sound, and also sent the notification to my phone/app. Also, in the app, it clearly shows it as “motion” and not “person”. Any ideas as to why ? Thanks.

    Hi @80sTiger. I cannot explain why this occurred, but I would recommend making sure your Ring app is updated with the latest update available. If your Ring app is up-to-date and this occurs again, give our support team a call to have this further investigated.
