Mounting screws too short for hex caps to reach with bulky wires!

The screws that the outside camera/lights are too short. They reach just to the plastic. If I could get the hex cap to bite, I could get it tighter, but I can’t. I am wiring to really thick wires that just won’t squish down enough to push in the cap any further. What do I do?

Hi @Wyldhare63. You may need to consult a qualified electrician with the proper tools to trim the wires, or install wires with the proper thickness.
