Live View from PC and Ring website?
So viewing Live Views in the Ring App on my phone works great. But I would also like to view both history and live from my PC using either the Windows app or the Ring.com Dashboard. The PC app does not pull up any of my new Security cameras which are the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus. I think I'm reading that that application is no longer compatible with these newer devices...is that true? So my other option is to view them from the Ring website Dashboard, which shows all the history videos perfectly. However I can't seem to find a way to see Live Views from Ring website. Why isn't there a button or link to view live from the Dashboard? Or am I doing something wrong?

I see. I understand, but it sure would be nice to be able to see the live view from a PC screen so you can monitor your live feeds on a bigger screen that just a phone. I think that would be a great feature to add to the website in the future.

Live View needs to be added to Ring.com. You need to elevate this request and get it done. Enough of the canned responses, or my last Ring doorbell will be my last.

The web version is known to be inferior to the phone app and I agree many folks would benefit from having the Ring tab open on their pc while they work rather than have to have their phone with them. The best thing to do is to check for posts about this or similar to this on the Feature Request board and upvote it, or create a new one and hope it gets upvoted.

Any updates on this feature... live view and all features on the cell phone app must be available on the desktop web browsing version.

Hi tmora and all that have this issue. There is an easy workaround, just use a android emulator such as Bluestacks on your windows 10 desktop. Within Bluestacks go to the playstore and install the ring app, login and you are good to go!

Good question, @tmora! Ring.com allows you to manage your account and recordings via web browser, however, Live View is a feature of the Ring app. Ring Windows and Mac and desktop apps are no longer receiving updates for new devices and features. Unsupported devices and features for Windows and Mac include but are not limited to the following: * Video Doorbell Wired * Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 * Ring Video Doorbell 4 * Video end-to-end encryption * Amazon account linking * Geofence Please note that while certain features and products are no longer supported by the desktop apps, the apps will continue to receive critical security and bug updates. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/204384784-Downloading-and-Updating-the-Ring-App
