Light on Security Cam turns on light when motion is detected even when motion detection is turned off

Recently, when I turn off motion detection off on the security cam so it is no longer recording the light still remains on when motion is detected. This was not happening previously and so must have been due to a recent update. I am aware that you can go into settings and toggle off 'Motion-activated lights' but my issue is that when motion detection is off I no longer want the light to come on. When motion detection is on I want the light to come on

Hi @user_eae05a. These 2 settings work independently from each other. You cameras motion detection does not affect the lights ability to detection motion. You can toggle on Motion Activated Lights, but you would still need to adjust the independent light settings.
