Internet bandwidth and notification speed
I asked an Ring support rep if he thought that bumping my internet from 200 mbps to 400 mbps would improve the notification times of my spotlight camera. He said that it would while others have told me it would not. Any body have an opinion? I tried an extender with a good reputation but it dropped often and didn’t seem to help with the performance. Thanks

There's a few things to check in regards to WiFi and your device, @Fr0van . Take a look at some of our WiFi examples, [here](https://community.ring.com/t5/General-Questions/How-To-Test-Device-Wi-Fi-Speed/m-p/521#M3) & [here](https://community.ring.com/t5/General-Questions/Device-Tips-Wi-Fi-Interference/m-p/704#M2) :) For most of our Security Cams, we reccommend a minimum upload speed of 1Mbps, but 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. Also, take into consideration the distance from your router to your device as well as any objects that may cause WiFi interference. Let us know if we can help in more detail!
