Indoor Camera Question

**Just hooked up this camera - love the picture quality but it appears that I can't swivel the camera from my phone - I can only position it manually? My old cam was controlled through my phone and I could adjust where it faced and pan from left to right if I wanted to. If this camera can't do that, I will likely return it unless there is a way to turn it off when I'm in the room. I don't want to have to manually turn it to face the room when I'm away and face the wall when I'm home.** **Thanks for any advice.**
