Ice on cameras

My cameras have a layer of ice on them. What is best way to de-ice. I have deicer for windshields. Will that hurt the camera? Will a scraper hurt them? They certainly won't be of any use until ice is off.

Glad you asked, @Hagfan! Similar to when there is condensation on a lens and neighbors suggest the use of a solution like rainx, a de-icer might do the trick. That being said, it is best to first check the corrosiveness of the solution used, it's intended uses/ surfaces, and always applying it to a cloth and wiping, rather than directly to the camera. While our devices are rated for outdoor use and weather resistance, we do recommend avoid extreme weather conditions or moisture for an optimal experience. I hope this helps! :)
