Doorbell and camera not in sync

I have a ring doorbell and security camera, the times are out of sync. The time is about 10 seconds apart per event. If car passed the end of my driveway at 12:45:30 on the security camera, but if I check the same time on my doorbell, that car would not be there. The car would be there at 12:45:20.

Hi @user37943. Your Ring Doorbell and Security Camera won't necessarily detect the same event at the same exact time, so you may see a few seconds of variation in motion detection. There are differences in the placement and position of each device to account for. If you ever notice any significant delays in motion detection or motion alerts, I'd recommend checking the [wifi signal strength](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Checking-Wifi-Signal-Strength) to ensure your devices have a strong signal.
