Does sound initiate the cameras?

Hi All. I have some floodlight/camera units. Last night one went on and made a history but there wasn't anything to see. Well maybe the fan inside the external A/C unit starting up. But there was also a loud noise as it started up. Question is - does sound start them or was it the spinning fan?Thanks.

Hi @JimAZ. If the air conditioning unit is within the Floodlight Cam's view, it turning on is likely what triggered the motion event. You can try angling the Floodlight Cam a bit to keep the air conditioning unit out of its view if the motion events become bothersome. :)
