Discontinued support for 1st generation cameras
I thought I remember seeing something about first generation support ending for flood and spotlight cameras. If so, when? What is the timing on 2nd and 3rd generation?

Caitlyn - I don't remember where I saw it. But it had to do with first generation products. I believe it was with software updates and support.

C@johnc49122 Thank you, I wanted to ensure there was no misinformation listed somewhere on the Community or our Help Center. As mentioned, these devices are still available and supported. Whenever new devices are available, these will be announced on ring.com, and we often post about new features or feature updates in our [Ring Updates](https://community.ring.com/c/welcome-to-the-ring-community/ring-updates/13) board. :)

Hi @johnc49122. Can you share where you saw or read that the Floodlight Cam and Spotlight Cams are not going to be supported anymore? These devices are still available for purchase on Ring.com and are supported via resources in our [Help Center](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us) and from our support team. :)
