Dead batteries: stuck on green

A couple of my ring batteries seem to be dead. When put on charge, however, they instantly show a green only LED aka charging complete. But the cams won’t start with them.What does ‘forever green’ mean? Are they defunct and how long are they supposed to last?

Hi @realcodfish. Based on what you're describing, it sounds like the batteries are fully charged. Have you tried resetting the Camera after inserting a fully charged battery? If not, I'd give this a try by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that, walk through the setup process in the Ring App by using the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if that does the trick for you. :)
