Camera works just with solar panel?

Hi there, have a security camera with a solar panel, does it work without battery? Because I’m not sure the solar panel is working anymore and I want to be sure. Have it for a year and never asked to charge the battery til last week.

Hi @user63642. The battery is required for the device to work. The Solar Panel provides a trickle charge to the battery, which operates the cam.
