If you plan on leaving the entire device for the next owners, feel free to also leave the packaging or quick start installation guide booklet that has the QR code on it. The Ring device may also have this code on the back. There is a manual setup option in the Ring app which allows neighbors to enter the QR code manually. If you want to make not of the code for the next owners, this could make their setup process easier.
