Turn off Ring doorbell notifications on SOME Amazon Echo devices (not all)
We have multiple Amazon Echo devices in the house that communicate our Ring doorbell events - motion detected, doorbell press, etc. Two of our Echo devices are located in offices that we work in all day. I have not been able to figure out how to turn off the audible notification on JUST those two Echo devices when someone rings the doorbell. The only thing I can find is how to turn off the audible notifications completely. But we still want this announcement on our other devices, just not those two Echo devices. Is there a way to do this?

That's what I thought too, but there is only one device that has a checkmark on that page, but the announcement is still being made everywhere else.

THi @user_ecf59a. In that case, I suggest opening your Alexa app and disabling the Ring Skill, rebooting your phone, then enabling the Ring Skill. Once you've done that, select the appropriate Alexa device for your announcements, per the article that Caitlyn shared earlier.

Hi @user_ecf59a. You should be able to set which Echo devices play announcements for each Ring device. In the Alexa app, select Devices > your Ring device > the cog wheel to access the settings. Here, you should see an Announcement Devices option, which will let you choose which Echo devices Alexa will make an announcement on. I hope this helps! 😊
