Ring app is slow shortly after renewal.

I recently renewed my subscription, which is done automatically. The 6 months leading up to the renewal I was bombarded with ads asking me to buy more cameras. I have 5, how many more does Ring think I need? Anyway, after the renewal I noticed the app performance slowed significantly. Now before I get the.....it's your phone, internet blah blah blah, my internet speed is 2100 MBPS, I have a new Samsung 250 GB phone. It's clearly not that. The only thing left is the app! The next day after renewal I started getting, it's not you it's us and other issues. I guess what I'm asking is, was my app slowed purposely after getting the money for the subscription renewal?
