Ring App
How do I remove Orange message "Want to resume premium features? Learn how."
I have a Ring Plus 1st Gen plan. I purchased a new Ring doorbell to replace an older one that was having problems. Ever since that time I have been annoyed with a banner at the bottom of the Ring App. For a month it was telling me that I am on a trail plan and there are X days left. That was annoying. Customer support said it will go away after 30 days. Ouch! Now it is gone but I have the message that states "Want to resume premium features? Learn how." That is also equally annoying. Customer support says it will not go away until March 2025 and they cannot do anything about it. OUCH!! That means I must put up with this annoyance for another 6 weeks (if not longer). Ring support, are you out there? Do you read these posts? Help me remove this banner. I have used Ring for several years and cameras work well and customer service is generally very good. Please help me to be a happy customer again.

I called customer service, and the only way to avoid the pop up is to make sure you never buy another Ring product.

Hi @JimHRing. Thank you for sharing your feedback on this. The behavior you're describing regarding the orange banner is intended. It will notify you how many days you have left on a trial, and advise you if you're missing out on certain features based on which plan you subscribed to after the trial ends. We have passed this feedback onto the appropriate team. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.

Yep I have the same problem, it’s gone 30 days and still there, very intrusive!

I am the same with this annoying orange pop up. Surely they can see at Ring that this info is of no use to me and they should be able to turn it off by use of purchasing records.
