Filter event not working

I’m trying to go back 10 days by using the filter events option and then picking the date on the Callander that pops up. But when I pick the day, then click filter events again it just takes me to today’s event/history timeline. Am I doing it wrong, this is the first I’ve wanted to do this, It seems a pretty basic thing to do so hopefully it’s something ring need to look at.
