Email address verification mail not been sent

I've recently purchased a Ring Home Alarm system.  In order to use it I need an account with a verified email address.  I've started the process of setting up an account with an email address and password. I've received an email with a verification code indicating that Ring know and accept that the email is valid.  The next step requires Ring to send me an email to verify my email address.  Firstly - I never receive this mail so cannot proceed (And yes I I've checked the spam/junk folder,  I've worked in IT for the last 20 years so I do have an idea whats going on) Secondly - Why if I've received a code to my email address that has been validated in order to login does my email need to be validated again. I have tried setting up account with a number of different email address's and all are failing at the same point.  It would appear that the accounts are being set up(as I can't reuse the email once it's been verified) I've talked to 1st line support who only seemed to be able to send the email out again (which I still don't receive)  Has anybody found a solution to this issue or I'm going to have to send the whole lot back as totally unusable.  Thanks for your help
