Ring Keypad Charging

Update: After disconnecting the charger, the app reported the battery being full. Now, an hour later it reports it as being empty again with the yellow light on the front being on. I had to charge the keypad for l, I think, only the third time yesterday ever since we installed the alarm system. It’s been plugged into a 2A USB charger for over 24h and it’s still blinking green. It’s supposed to turn solid green when fully charged. Any idea what might be going on here? The battery cannot possibly have gone bad this quickly, could it?
