Ring doorbell- changing it from battery powered to hard wired

When I set up our ring doorbell I set it up to use the battery, however the previous owners of this house had a ring doorbell hardwired and we just found that out when we went to replace the old one with ours and found that we have the option to hard wire it so now I need to change the setting from battery to hard wired. How do I do that?
