Motion sensor alarm issue notification good?

Question

My motion sensor is set up to give me notifications even when the system is not armed. This works fine I get the notifications when there is motion. Problem is that after I arm the system I will get false alarms from that motion sensor, seems to as quickly as ever 5 minutes, I will turn system off, get no notifications for the motion but when arming system again after a while still false alarm from motion detector. Anybody have any idea what's going on?

Hey @MrPay. When you are disarmed and you are looking through the event history log for the motion sensor, are there indeed events there every 5 minutes? It's possible you may need to remove the motion sensors, [factory reset it](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000071906-How-to-Completely-Reset-Your-Alarm-Devices), and then add it back on to refresh the connection it has and the firmware on the device.
