Keypad in cold/hot garage
Does anyone know if the 2nd gen keypad will be fine in a cold/hot garage running on battery, not plugged in. What kind of recharageable battery does it use? Thanks.

Good question, @th3awak3n1ng! Our Alarm devices are rated for indoor use only. If placing in a garage that is not temperature controlled, please consider how hot or cold it may get, as it certainly can impact battery life or operation. I recommend also having the plug nearby or available for the Keypad, as charging or powering with the adapter may be the best experience with garage placement. I hope this helps! :)
