How should I place window sensors?

    I have a few big double sliders like that as well. What I did was to use small bar magnets attached to the outer sider's window frame, with the Ring contact sensor in the inner slider's frame:![image|689x500](upload://hRcHPxbThUxcUzlbRWZHYMrQL9R.jpeg) ![image|671x500](upload://4INc8GSFZwNlK2QH0jQcvVWGWzw.jpeg) This way, no matter which slider moves, the magnet and contact sensor will move apart from each other and will trigger the "open" alert.
