Does the new Kiddie hard-wired smoke detector work with Ring Alarm monitoring subscription?
I have Ring alarm monitoring and use the First Alert Z-wave smoke detectors. I would rather use the new Kiddie hard-wired detectors. But the write-up makes it sound like those only work with the new Smoke Monitoring Plan. I certainly do not need to buy another subscription plan. Can I use these new Kiddie detectors with the ring alarm monitoring plan that I already have? Just like the First Alert Z-wave detectors?

Hi @Brad. If you already have Alarm Professional Monitoring, you would not need to purchase Smoke & CO Monitoring separately, as Alarm Professional Monitoring already includes this. The Kidde Smart Smoke and Kidde Smart Smoke and CO Alarms are compatible as well.
