Chime control questions

I have my door sensors set up to chime and my two keypads set up to chime. But I'd like to do more. First can I get a chime to happen when the door is closed in addition to when it is opened? Second, can I turn off chimes on the keypad in my bedroom only at night?

Good questions @kirkbauer! At this time, the Sensor chirp will only play when opening the door. While you cannot schedule times for these chirps to play, you are able to disable these chirps quickly in the Ring app. While logged into the Ring app, open the menu, select devices, select Alarm, and then select your Keypad. On the Keypad page you can disable and enable the chirps on command. As we value our neighbors' feedback, we've created a [Feature Request board](https://community.ring.com/t5/Feature-Request-Board/idb-p/Feature_Request_Board). Feel free to add this and any future feature requests there. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place.

Thank you! I was hoping there might be some third party applications or an API interface that might allow things to be done that can't be done through the mobile app?

Other than the [arming/ disarming features with Alexa](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020893671-Arming-and-Disarming-Your-Alarm-with-Alexa), there are not any other supported APIs. You can certainly find other integrations, such as those that [Works With Ring ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026250452-Works-With-Ring-Compatible-Devices)and the Alarm compatible products found at Ring.com. Feel free to check different threads around the Community to see if any neighbors have shared options that worked for them. :)
