I was trying to determine if there is a shortcut to arm the system. On the ADT system we are replacing we can hit the # button and then hit Stay (Home) and the system arms, we do not need to enter the code when arming the ADT system

Hi @billb533. There is no [arming or disarming](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005312623-Arming-Disarming-and-Setting-Modes-on-your-Ring-Alarm) shortcut on the Ring Alarm Keypad. You can enter your 4 digit pin and them select the Mode on the Keypad, or you can open the Ring App on your smartphone or tablet and just tap the Mode you'd like to arm your system in. Using the Ring App to arm and disarm your system doesn't require your 4 digit pin code, so it may be quicker for you in comparison. I hope this information helps! :)
