The room motion detector keeps setting off the alarm With normal room motion if family

Hi @Sandra343. If you have your system armed and the Motion Detector is monitored, it will trigger the alarm if motion is detected. You do have the option to change which sensors are monitored in each mode, which you can learn more about in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005312623-Arming-Disarming-and-Setting-Modes-on-your-Ring-Alarm). You can set that Motion Detector to not be monitored in a specific mode so that the alarm isn't triggered when you're at home. I hope that helps clear things up for you. :)
