Wired doorbell no snapshots or live view
Hi, I’ve had my doorbell for a couple of years now, about 2/3 months ago the live view and snapshots started to occasionally not work, then not at all. My signal strength is good (<50), as is power and I’ve tried various methods here to resolve it but nothing is working (resets, guest network, static ip, spare router, different channels). It’s currently sat on a guest network with the router below it and nothing. Oddly, my ring security camera at the other end of the house is currently working on the same network and I’ve had no live issues with that. I did briefly get it working again a few weeks back, by removing my plan, deleting the device, factory reset etc. it then worked perfectly for 3/4 days and then went back to this. Since then I’ve tried resetting again but nothing. As far as I can tell it’s not settings, everything is enabled and appears correct re modes etc, I have the latest app and apparently my firmware is up to date, although every time I try a reset it does lock me out for an update for a bit. I also don’t think it’s working for rings, although not sure that’s related, I’ve had a few people to the door recently how have knocked and said they’d tried and nothing came in as an alert in my phone or Alexa, but then I’ve just tried it and both did (but no video of course).Is there anything else I can try? Can live view be broken by a hardware fault? Is there any more debugging I can try? Im with Vodafone fibre if that makes a difference, as I’ve said I’ve tried swapping out the router also, I have zero issues with any device except this doorbell. Thanks!
