Will this chime/setup work without modification?
Hi, I'm a total beginner when it comes to anything wiring related but giving this a try! Basically I was wondering from the below pictures if my ring doorbell (2nd gen) would work with my existing setup? I'd like to hardwire it and use a mechanical chime so that if the wifi goes down everything still works. From the above pictures it looks like the black box near the RCD is a Friedland 752 transformer but I'm not sure if I would need to replace this and the chime? Thanks for any help!

Hi @bob9876. You can find a list of which chime kits are compatible with the Ring Video Doorbell 2 in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003008663-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). The Video Doorbell 2 is compatible with 8-24 VAC, Max 50/60Hz transformers. If your transformer fits this power requirements and you have a mechanical or digital chime kit from the compatible list, you should be good to go. You can reference the installation steps for the Doorbell 2 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003031706-How-to-Physically-Install-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2-with-an-Existing-Doorbell) as well. :)
